SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That it shall be unlawful for any person to hitch, tie
or fasten any horse, mule, cow, bullock or sheep or goat on
any public road or highway in the fifth election district of
Talbot county, provided that nothing in this section shall be
construed to include within its provisions the hitching, tying
or fastening of any horse, mule or ox by a person when such
animal is being ridden or driven.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That any person violating
the provisions of the above section shall be deemed guilty of a
misdemeanor, and upon conviction thereof before any judge
of the Circuit Court or justice of the peace of said county shall
be fined not more than ten dollars and costs of prosecution.
SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 604.
AN ACT to prevent firing or discharging firearms or fire-
works on any public road or highway within the limits of
Tilghman Island, in the fifth election district 6f Talbot
county.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That no person or persons shall fire or discharge any hand
gun, pistol, squib, rocket, firecracker, mixture of gunpowder
or other fireworks on any public road or highway within the
limits of Tilghman Island, in the fifth election district of Talbot
county.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That any person violating
the provisions of the above section shall be deemed guilty of a
misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof before any judge of
the Circuit Court or justice of the peace of said county shall
be fined not more than ten dollars and cost of prosecution.
SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect from the date of its passage.
