ceive the same, properly endorse them for payment, if found
correct, to the several contractors, material men or others
who have done work or furnished materials to and about such
buildings, and payments of purchase money of a lot, should
one be purchased or condemned, and also in payment of any
necessary expenses which may have been incurred by the Board
of School Commissioners for Somerset county in and about
the purchase or condemnation of a lot and the building thereon,
and the County Commissioners shall keep a special account
of receipts from the sale of the bonds aforesaid, and the expen-
ditures thereunder by the School Commissioners.

SEC. 6. And be it enacted, That the Board of School Commis-
sioners in the event of the sale of said bonds shall, as speedily
as possible, secure by purchase or otherwise, a site, procure and
adopt a plan and specifications for the building and equip-
ment of a public school building in Crisfield, and as soon as the
said plans and specifications shall have been adopted they shall
invite sealed proposals by advertisement for a reasonable time
for the construction and completion of the said building, which
proposals shall be by sealed bids, to be opened publicly at a
time and place to be named in the said advertisement; said
proposals shall state the amount for which the bidder will
complete the building according to plans and specifications,
the time at which the same shall be completed, and the terms
at which, on the completion of a certain portion of said build-
ing the money shall be paid therefor, and the contract shall
be awarded to the lowest bidder, who shall give bond with
surety or sureties as shall be approved by the said Board of
School Commissioners, and for such amount as they shall
approve conditioned to the faithful performance of the con-
tract so awarded, whereupon the said Board of School Commis-
sioners shall immediately proceed to have said building erected.

SEC. 6A. And be it enacted, That any special or general ap-
propriation of moneys, which by the Act of the General Assem-
bly of Maryland have heretofore been made or which shall
hereafter be made for the use and benefit of the Crisfield High
School, or of which the Crisfield High School may avail itself
by complying with the conditions of the Act making said ap-
propriations, shall be paid over to the County School Commis-
sioners of said Somerset county to be applied by them to the
payment of the bonds hereinbefore provided and the interest
thereon, as the same shall become due and payable; and any
appropriation which may have been made, or which may here-
after be made by Act of the General Assembly of Maryland,
for the high schools of this State, for the purpose of estab-
lishing any special courses, except commercial courses or so
