thousand dollars for the fiscal year nineteen hundred ; provided,
one free scholar be received from each county of the State and
one from each legislative district of Baltimore city, to be selected
by the school commissioners of the counties and Baltimore city,
respectively.
17. To the Home of the Friendless of Baltimore city, the
sum of three thousand dollars for the fiscal year eighteen hun-
dred and ninety-nine, and the like sum of three thousand dol-
lars for the fiscal year nineteen hundred.
18. To the House of Good Shepherd, the sum of three thou-
sand dollars for the fiscal year eighteen hundred and ninety-
nine, and the like sum of three thousand dollars for the fiscal
year nineteen hundred, to be issued in accordance with the pro-
visions of section three hundred and twenty-eight of Article
twenty-seven of the Code of Public General Laws.
19. To the Hospital for the Women of Maryland, the sum
of three thousand dollars for the fiscal year eighteen hundred
and ninety-nine, and the like sum of three thousand dollars for
the fiscal year nineteen hundred.
20. To St. Mary's Orphan Asylum of Baltimore, the sum of
five thousand dollars for the fiscal year eighteen hundred and
ninety-nine, and the like sum of five thousand dollars for the
fiscal year nineteen hundred.
21. To St. Mary's Industrial School, the sum of fifteen thou-
sand dollars for the fiscal year eighteen hundred and ninety-
nine, and the like sum of fifteen thousand dollars for the fiscal
year nineteen hundred.
22. To the Baltimore City Hospital, the sum of five thou-
sand dollars, for the fiscal year eighteen hundred and ninety-
nine, and the like sum of five thousand dollars for the fiscal
year nineteen hundred ; provided, that the said Baltimore City
Hospital shall furnish one bed, maintenance and treatment for
one patient at a time from each senatorial district of the State
of Maryland during two years from the date of the passage of
this Act.
23. To the Home for Friendless Children of the Eastern
Shore of Maryland, the sum of one thousand dollars for the
fiscal year eighteen hundred and ninety-nine, and the like sum
of one thousand dollars for the fiscal year nineteen hundred.
24. To. St. Agnes' Hospital, the sum of twenty-five hundred
dollars for the fiscal year eighteen hundred and ninety-nine,
