ident of the United States.
SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That the Governor of the State

mission of five citizens of this State, who shall serve without

compensation, and whose duty it shall be, or that a majority of
them, to take all needful steps and do all lawful acts to carry
into effect the provisions of this Act ; provided, however, that
the cost of said statues including the pedestals thereof and the
transportation and other charges and expenses connected with
placing said statues in said Hall of Statuary shall not exceed
the amount hereby appropriated.
SEC. 4. And be it enacted, That the Comptroller of the

his warrant upon the Treasurer, payable to the order of the
said commissioners, or of a majority of them, for such sum or
sums and at such time or times as shall be required "by the draft
or order of the said commissioners, or of a majority of them,
within the amount so hereby appropriated, for the modeling,
construction, transportation and erecting of said statues.
SEC. 5. And be it enacted, That the said commissioners, or

CHAPTER 312.
AN ACT to repeal sections 5, 6, 7 and 8 of Article 43 of the
Code of Public General Laws, title "Health," sub-title "State
Board of Health," and to re-enact the same with amend-
ments, and to add thereto certain new sections, to be desie-

nated Sections 6 A, 6 B, 6 C, 6 D, 6 E, 6 F, 6 G, 6 H, 6 I, 6 K, 6 L,
6 M; 6 N.

Effective.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That sections 5, 6, 7 and 8 of Article 43 of the Code of
Public General Laws, title "Health," sub-title "State Board of
Health," be and the same are hereby repealed and re-enacted
