and of its authorization to become and be accepted as sole
surety on all bonds, undertakings, recognizances, obligations
required or permitted by law, or in the charter, ordinances,
rules or regulations of any municipality, board, body, organi-
zation or public officer, and the solvency and credit of such
company for all purposes and its sufficient as such surety.

Repeal.
|
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That all Acts or parts of
Acts inconsistent with the provisions of this Act, be and the
same are hereby repealed, so far as thus inconsistent.

Effective.
|
SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect from
the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 303.
AN ACT to provide for the further extension of the charter
and corporate existence of the Frederickstown Savings
Institution.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the charter and corporate existence of the Fred-
erickstown Savings Institution, which was incorporated by the

General Assembly of Maryland, by chapter one hundred and
forty-two, passed at December session, in the year eighteen
hundred and twenty-seven, on the date March seventh, in the
year eighteen hundred and twenty-eight, and the charter of
which was extended by the General Assembly of Maryland by
chapter forty-four, passed at December session of the year
eighteen hundred and forty-two, on the date January twenty-
fifth, in the year eighteen hundred and forty-three, and the
charter of which was further extended by the General Assem-
bly of Maryland by chapter one hundred and sixty-two, passed
at January session of the year eighteen hundred and fifty-eight,
and the charter of which was further extended by the General
Assembly of Maryland by chapter sixteen, passed at January
session of the year eighteen hundred and seventy-eight, be and
the same is hereby extended from the expiration thereof, at the
end of the session of the General Assembly of Maryland, next
after the year nineteen hundred, to the end of the session of
the General Assembly of Maryland, next after the year nine-
teen hundred and fifty.
