AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Section 208
of Article four of the Code of Public Local Laws, title
"City of Baltimore," sub-title "Courts— Orphans' Court."
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That section 208 of Article four of the Code of Public

Local Laws, title "City of Baltimore," sub title "Courts —
Orphans' Court," be and the same is hereby repealed and
re-enacted with amendments, so as to read as follows :
208. The judges of the Orphans' Court of Baltimore city
shall receive nine dollars for every day's attendance upon the

sessions of said court, to be paid by the city of Baltimore, and
the sessions of said court shall continue from 11 A. M. to 3
P. M., if necessary for the transaction of the business of the
court.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 257.
AN ACT to authorize and direct the County Commissioners
of Montgomery County, after having acquired title to the
turnpike road formerly owned by the President, Managers
and Company of the Washington Turnpike Company, to
construct a public county road over said acquired road from
Rockville to the line of the District of Columbia, to borrow
money on the credit of said county for the construction of
said road, and issue coupon bonds therefor; and to levy and
collect on and from the assessable property of said county
an annual tax sufficient to pay said bonds when they mature,
and the interest thereon as it becomes due.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
