CHAPTER 195.
AN ACT to amend the charter of the Elkridge Fox Hunt-
ing Club of Baltimore County by increasing the Board of
Governors from twelve to sixteen, and providing for election
of same.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the Board of Governors of the Elkridge Fox Hunt-
ing Club of Baltimore County be and is hereby increased from
twelve to sixteen members, to be elected as follows, to wit:
At the annual election first to be held after the passage of this
Act, sixteen governors shall be elected, of whom four shall be
elected to serve for one year, four shall be elected to serve for
two years, four shall be elected to serve for three years, and
four shall be elected to serve for four years ; and at each
annual election to be held thereafter, at such time and place as
may be provided for in the by-laws, four governors shall be
elected to serve for four years.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 196.
AN ACT to authorize and require the Board of School Com-
missioners of Calvert County to erect a public school house
for colored children in the first precinct of the First Elec-
tion District of said county, to be located near the place
known as the " Oaks," about 1 1/8 miles north of Cherry Hill,
and to require the County Commissioners of said county to
levy a sum of money, not to exceed three hundred and fifty
dollars, to pay for the land on which said school house will
be erected and for said building.

the first day of September, 1898, to purchase sufficient land
and to erect a public school house thereon in the first precinct
of the first election district of Calvert county at or near the
