Sanctipn ana
consent of
the General
Assembly.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the sanction and consent of the General Assembly
of Maryland be and the same is hereby declared, given and
granted to the gift and grant by Margaret J. Beall to the
vestry of Prince George's Parish, in Montgomery county, a
body corporate, duly incorporated under the laws of the State
of Maryland, of a lot of ground situate in the town of Rock-
ville, in said county, on the north side of Commerce lane, con-
taining sixty six square perches of land, more or less, and fully
described in a deed from the said Margaret J. Beall to the said
vestry of Prince George's Parish, in Montgomery county, bear-
ing date the twenty second day of September, in the year
eighteen hundred and ninety-seven, and recorded in Liber J.
A. No. 60, folios 207, etc., one of the Land Record books of
said Montgomery county, and to said deed, conveying said lot
in fee simple from the said Margaret J. Beall to the said ves-
try of Prince George's Parish, in Montgomery county, and to
the holding of said lot by said corporation in fee simple, with
full power to sell, lease, mortgage or in any other way to dis-
pose of the same.

Effective.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.
Approved April 2, 1898.

CHAPTER 173.
AN ACT to repeal sections two and three of Chapter 64: of
the Laws' of Maryland, passed at the session of 1892, and
re-enact Section one of Chapter 183 of the Laws of Mary-
land, passed at the session of 1890, and also re-enact Section
eleven of Chapter 183 of the Laws of Maryland, passed at
the session of 1890, with amendments, and to repeal and re-
enact with amendments Section two of Chapter 183 of the
Laws of Maryland, passed at the session of 1890, entitled
"An Act to create a Treasurer for Calvert County and to
provide for the collection of taxes therein."

Repeal.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That sections two and three of chapter 64 of the laws
of Maryland, passed at the session of 1892, be and the same
are hereby repealed, and that section one of chapter 183 of
the Acts of 1890 be and the same is hereby re-enacted, and
section eleven of chapter 183 of the Acts of 1890 be and the
