of any church or school house, or sell, offer to sell or barter, or
give away any spirituous or fermented liquors, or keep his, her,
their or its place open on the Lord's day, commonly called Sun-
day ; nor shall any person or persons, house, corporation, com-
pany or association open his, her, their or its place of business
for the sale of any intoxicating, spirituous or fermented liquors
before the hour of six o'clock, ante- meridian, and he, she or
they shall close the same at eleven o'clock, post-meridian, and
any person or persons, house, corporation, company or associa-
tion, his, her, their or its officers, agents, servants or employes
violating this provision of this Act shall be deemed guilty of
a misdemeanor, and shall, upon conviction, be fined for each
offense not 'less than fifty dollars nor more tnan one hundred
dollars, or 'shall be imprisoned in the House of Correction for
a term not less than thirty days nor more than ninety days, or
may be both fined and imprisoned, in the discretion of the court
or justice of the peace before whom the conviction may be
had, with the right of appeal to the Circuit Court, as given in
section sixteen of this Act.
SEC. 11. And be it enacted, That any person or persons,

house, corporation, company or association who shall obtain a
license under the provisions of this Act, shall keep all whiskey,
wine, lager beer, ale, ambrosia, or any other kind or kinds of
spirituous or fermented liquors kept for sale, in a room which
sliall be visible from the street ; no screen or curtain shall be
placed at or in front of any door or window, or any stained or
frosted glass used in the same in any building in which liquors
may be sold or kept for sale, whether the said place be open
for business or not.

Disorderly

SEC. 12. And be it enacted, That any person or persons,
house, corporation, company or association of individuals,
whether licensed or not under the provisions of this Act, his,
her, their or its officers, agents, servants or employes, who shall
keep a disorderly house by allowing intoxicated persons or
others, by congregating in or upon their premises, to disturb
the quiet of the town to the inconvenience or discomfort of
any of the citizens of the town, shall be guilty of a misde-
meanor, and on conviction thereof shall be fined and proceeded
against for each and every offense, as provided in section six-
teen of this Act, and the officers of said town are required to
enforce this section by the arrest of all persons who are drunk
on the streets, or in any public place, and acting disorderly, to
be dealt with according to law, and by the arrest of any per-
