for the building and furnishing of a public school building in the
city of Annapolis, etc.," and to provide for the completion of the
public school building authorized and directed to be built by said
chapter 275, by the erection and furnishing of additional rooms to .
said building; and to authorize and require the Board of School
Commissioners of Anne Arundel county to borrow money on the
credit of said county, and the Mayor, Counsellor and Aldermen of
the city of Annapolis to borrow on the credit of said city, or other-
wise provide money for the purpose of erecting and furnishing
such additional rooms to said school building; and for the further
purpose of paying to the Hudson Furniture Company of Athens,
Ohio, the sum of two thousand dollars for school furniture sup-
plied to said school building, and for the further purpose of paying
to Walter H. Schaeffer and Lena Strohm the salary due them as
teachers in said public school in the city of Annapolis for the ses-
sion ending June 30, 1898, and to establish a high school in said
