majority of the shares of stock may call such a general meet-
ing as hereinbefore mentioned, and in case of refusal so to do,
the said shareholders holding two hundred and fifty shares or
more of stock may call such general meeting in the manner
above mentioned.
SEC. 12. And be it enacted, That nothing in this Act shall

be so constitued as to authorize the said corporation to issue any
note, token, scrip or evidence of debt to be used as currency ;
and the Legislature hereby reserves the right to alter, amend
or repeal this Act or any part thereof.

SEC. 13. And be it enacted. That the directors of said
insurance company may at any time they think advisable and
for the best interest of said company, remove the home office
to Baltimore city.

SEC. 14. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 526.
AN ACT to amend the Charter of the Town of Gaithers-
burg in Montgomery County, as said Charter was enacted
by Chapter 397 of the Acts of the General Assembly of
Maryland, at the session of 1878 ; as amended by Chapter'
320 of the Acts of the General Assembly of 1880; by
Chapter 316 of the General Assembly of 1886 ; by Chapter
541 of the Acts of the General Assembly of 1888, and by
Chapter 237 of the Acts of the General Assembly of
1890.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-

of Maryland, of the session of 1878, entitled "An Act to in-
corporate the town of Gaithersburg, in Montgomery county,"
and chapter 320 of the Acts of the General Assembly of
Maryland of 1880, and chapter 316 of the Acts of the Gen-
eral Assembly of Maryland of 1886, and chapter 541 of the
Acts of the General Assembly of 1888, and chapter 237 of the
Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland of 1890, amend-
ing said chapter 397 of the Acts of 1878, be and the same
are hereby repealed and re-enacted with amendments, so as to
read as follows :
