debts, contracts and all other personal property, and advance
money thereupon on such terms as may be established or
approved by said company ; that in all cases in which public
officers or municipal or private corporations are authorized to
deposit money, stocks, bonds, or evidences of debts, such
deposits by such officers or corporations may be made with said
company ; no loan, however, shall be made to any officer or
employe of said company ; and for any violation of this pro-
vision, the party "or parties making or consenting thereto,
directly or indirectly, shall be liable to said company for the
amount so loaned, and all counsel fees and losses which may
result therefrom

AN ACT to add an additional Section to the Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland, Volume 1, Article 4, title "City of
Baltimore," sub-title "Licenses," to be known as No. 668 A,
to provide for licenses for stevedores.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That a section be added to the Public Local Laws of
Maryland, Volume 1, Article 4, title "City of Baltimore,"
sub-title "Licenses," to provide for licenses for stevedores, said
section to be known as 668 A, and to read as follows :
