in this Act, and for no other purpose, and the treasurer, upon
the order of the County Commissioners, shall pay ont the same
as other county funds are paid out.

How applied.

SEC. 13. And be it enacted, That the tolls received from
said bridges are hereby set apart, (after the cost of maintaining
said bridges are paid) for the purpose of helping to pay the
interest on said bonds and for the purpose of creating a sinking
fund to pay said bonds as they may mature.
SEC. 14. And be it enacted. That the County Commissioners

of Anne Arundel county are hereby authorized and empow-
ered to grant permission to any electric railroad to cross over
and lay its tracks upon said bridges, but only upon condition
that said railroad shall always, after laying its tracks upon said
bridges, pay one-half of the cost of maintaining said bridges
and keeping the same in repair.

SEC. 15. And be it enacted, That all Acts or parts of Acts
inconsistent with the provisions of this Act, be and the same
are hereby repealed, and this Act shall take effect from the
date of itspassage.

CHAPTER 498.
AN ACT to provide for maintaining and keeping in repair
the public roads of Worcester County, and to repeal all laws
inconsistent therewith so far as the same apply to Worcester
County.


Effective.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the County Commissioners of Worcester county
shall have power to divide or sub-divide the several election
districts of said county into three road districts, and to appoint
a road supervisor for each of said road districts, and to appoint
such assistant supervisors as they may think necessary.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That any male inhabitant

between the ages of twenty-one and fifty-five years of age, and
every other male inhabitant above fifty-five years of age, and
possessing taxable property, assessed at five hundred dollars or
upwards, who shall have resided within the limits of Worces-
ter county for one month next preceding the date when his
services may be demanded, shall be required to labor two days
in every year on the public roads in the road district in which
he may reside, and the road supervisor, whenever the public
roads shall need repairs, shall summons all such persons in his
