guilty of "Larceny after a Trust" and be punished as is pro-
vided by Article 27 of the Code of Public General Laws for
the punishment of that crime. The appointments of the
general measurers and inspectors of oysters, as provided in
section 57, shall as to the first appointments to be made, be
made on or before August 1, 1898 ; provided, that nothing in
any of the provisions of this Act shall be construed to prevent
any general measurer and inspector of oysters from serving in
any county district at least three weeks, and each and every
inspector shall report monthly to the Commander of the
Oyster Navy, or oftener if required by him, concerning all
the oysters that may be disposed of within his inspection dis-
trict, and that such reports shall be full and complete account
of all sales of oysters that have been made within his district.

CHAPTER 450.
AN ACT to authorize the Board of County School Com-
missioners of Carroll County to refund to George B.
Yantis, late of Carroll County, Maryland, sixty-five dollars;
less five per centum, for money paid by him for an unused
hotel liquor license, issued in said Carroll County.
WHEREAS, George B. Yantis, late of Carroll county, Mary-
land, paid the sum of one hundred dollars to the clerk of the

Preamble.

Circuit Court for Carroll county, for a hotel liquor license for
the year 1896, commencing on the first day of May of said
year 1896, and said George B. Yantis, afterwards, to wit, on
the first day of June, 1896, removed from the premises in
which said hotel business was to have been conducted to Penn-
sylvania, and no use or benefit was had by him from said
license, save and except the month of May, and the sum of
seventy five dollars, less five per centum of said license money
was by law paid by said clerk of said court to the said School
Commissioners ; therefore,

refunded.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the Board of School Commissioners of Carroll
County be and it is hereby authorized to refund and repay to
George B. Yantis, the sum of sixty-five dollars, less five per
centum.
