Chapter 515.

AN ACT to repeal sections thirty, thirty-one,
thirty-two, thirty-five, thirty-six, forty-two,
forty-eight, forty-nine, fifty, fifty-one, fifty-
two, sixty-six, sixty-seven and eighty-one of
article eighty-one of the Code of Public Gen-
eral Laws of Maryland, title "Revenue and
Taxes," as enacted by the act of January
session, eighteen hundred and seventy-four,
chapter four hundred and eighty-three, so far
as the same relates to Garrett county ; and
sections seventy-one, seventy-two, seventy-
three, seventy-four and seventy-five of chap-
ter one hundred and eight of the acts of as-
sembly, passed at January session eighteen
hundred and seventy-eight, entitled "An act
to add an additional article to the Code of
Public Local Laws, to be entitled 'Garrett
County,' " and to enact the following sections in
lieu thereof providing for the appointment of
a county treasurer for Garrett county and de-
fining the duties of said treasurer.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General As-
sembly of Maryland, That sections thirty, thirty-
one, thirty-two, thirty-five, thirty-six, forty-two,
forty-eight, forty -nine, fifty, fifty-one, fifty-two,

one, seventy-two, seventy-three, seventy-four
and seventy-five of chapter one hundred and
eight of the acts of assembly, passed at Janu-
ary session, eighteen hundred and seventy-eight,
entitled an act to add "An additional article to
the Code of Public Local Laws, to be entitled
Garrett County,' " be and the same are hereby
repealed, and the following sections enacted in
lieu thereof, providing for the appointment of a
