justice of the peace, in case of non-payment
thereof, as soon as adjudged as aforesaid, in
addition to process of attachment or execution
for the enforcement thereof, shall have power
forthwith to commit the offender or offenders to
the county jail until the payment of said fine,
penalty or forfeiture so as aforesaid adjudged
against him or them, together with all costs,
unless sooner released and discharged by the
order of said commissioners.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from the date of its passage.

Chapter 369.
AN ACT to repeal chapter two hundred and
eleven of the acts of the General Assembly of
Maryland passed at the January session, eigh-
teen hundred and sixty-eight, in relation to
the sale of burial grounds, and to re-enact the
same amended.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-
bly of Maryland, That chapter two hundred and

eleven of the acts of the General Assembly of
Maryland passed at the January session, eigh-
teen hundred and sixty-eight, entitled "An act
to add additional sections to article sixteen of
the Code of Public General Laws," entitled
"Chancery," to come in after section seventy-
eight of said article, be and the same is hereby
repealed and re-enacted, amended as follows :
