Chapter 314.

AN ACT to provide for additional justices of
the peace for Baltimore city.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-

of the peace, at large, for the city of Baltimore,
in addition to those already provided for by law

same to be necessary.

Effective.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from the date of its passage.

Chapter 315.

AN ACT to repeal section two of chapter two
hundred and twenty-two of the act passed at
January session, eighteen hundred and sev-
enty-six, entitled "An act to repeal section
two of article thirty-seven of the Code of
Public General Laws, title 'Evidence,' sub-
title ' Competency of Witnesses,' " as amended
by the act of January session of eighteen
hundred and seventy-four, chapter three hun-
dred and eighty-five, and to amend and re-
enact the same to read as follows, and to re-
enact said section with amendments :
