eight, the said act of eighteen hundred and
eighty-two, chapter ninety-two, shall continue
to remain in force until other laws shall be
enacted in lieu thereof.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the questions
whether or not any person or persons, house,
company, association or body corporate, as

ford county of this state, by whom, or in which
spirituous or fermented liquors or intoxicating
drinks may be sold, or whether or not no license
to sell the same in said county shall be issued,

therein on the first Tuesday after the first Mon-
day in November in the year eighteen hundred
and eighty-eight, and which election shall be
held in accordance with the law governing
general elections in this state, and the sheriff
of said county shall, at least three weeks pre-

by advertisements set up at the most public
places within each election district of said
county, and also by advertisements in all the
newspapers published therein, which said ad-
vertisement shall contain a copy of this act,
