same manner as from a judgment of a justice of
the peace of said county.
SEC. 9. And be it enacted, That the mayor

their election ; and the said councilmen shall,
before they enter upon the duties of their office,

and the bailiff shall give bond and security in
such sum as the mayor and councilmen may
designate.
