them that their names have been stricken off,
so as to give them an opportunity to appear at
some future sitting, not later than the first of
the October sittings, and establish their right to
be reinstated. At the end of the first October
sitting it shall, in like manner, be the duty of
said officers of registration to send notices in
the same modes to all persons whose names
have been stricken off at such October sitting,
notifying them that their names have been
stricken off, and informing them that said offi-
cers of registration will sit on the third day
after the date of such notice for the hearing and
determining of all applications for reinstate-
ment, at which final sitting said officers of reg-
istration shall sit for said purpose only. In all

shall be recorded opposite such name, and when
a name is stricken off .upon the oath of any per-
son, the name of such person shall be recorded
