LAWS OF MARYLAND.

said society during any exhibition or fair, or to
whom the said society shall grant the privilege
of exhibiting any lawful games, show or per-
formance within the grounds aforesaid during
any exhibition or fair, shall be required to take
out any license from or pay any fee or reward
to the State of Maryland or said county for or
on account of such privilege ; provided the said
society shall annually pay to the board of school
commissioners of said county the sum of twenty-
five dollars for the use of the public schools in
said county.

Effective.

SEC. 7. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from the date of its passage.

AN ACT to incorporate the Gentlemen's Driving
Association.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-
bly of Maryland, That Patrick Martin and Bar-
tholomew McAndrews, of Baltimore city, and
their associates, who are now, or who may be

ate.

hereafter admitted members of the Gentlemen's
Driving Association, be and they are hereby
constituted a body politic and corporate, with
succession, under the name and style of the Gen-
tlemen's Driving Association, with power to them
and their successors to adopt a common seal, and
the same to alter and change, and by the cor-
porate name above-mentioned, to sue and to be
sued, implead and be impleaded, and to take,
lease and hold property, real, personal and mixed,
and the same to sell, exchange, lease or other-
wise dispose of, and in general to do, perform
and suffer with reference to the hereinafter
mentioned purpose of their incorporation, all
acts and things which may lawfully be done, per-
formed and suffered by a natural person.
