Chapter 110.
AN ACT to repeal section three of the acts of
eighteen hundred and eighty-four, chapter
sixteen, entitled "An act for the protection of
birds in Prince George's and Anne Arundel
counties, as amended by chapter one hundred
and ninety of the acts of eighteen hundred
and eighty-six," and to re-enact the same
with amendments.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General As-

re-enacted.

sembly of Maryland, That section three of the
acts of eighteen hundred and eighty-four,
chapter sixteen, entitled "An act for the protec-
tion of birds in Prince George's and Anne
Arundel counties, as amended by chapter one
hundred and ninety of the acts of eighteen
hundred and eighty-six," be and the same
hereby is repealed and re-enacted so as to read
as follows :
3. It shall not be lawful for any person or per-

sons in said counties to shoot, kill, catch, or in
any way entrap any partridge or quail or rabbit
in said counties between the twenty-fourth day
of December in each and every year and the
first day of November following ; nor any wood-
cock between the first day of February and the

It shall be lawful to kill, catch, trap and destroy
English sparrows in said counties at any and all
times in every year.

Inconsisten-
cies repealed.
Effective.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That all acts or
parts of acts, general or local, of the State of
Maryland, inconsistent with the provisions of
this act, be and the same hereby are repealed.
SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from the date of its passage.
