Chapter 99.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amend-
ments chapter two hundred and fifty-three
of the acts of the General Assembly of Mary-
land, January session of eighteen hundred
and sixty-two, entitled "An act to incorpor-
ate the German Reformed Church of Man-
chester, Carroll county."

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General As-

and fifty-three of the acts of eighteen hundred
and sixty-two, entitled "An act to incorporate
the German Reformed Church of Manchester,
Carroll county," be and the same is hereby re-
pealed, and re-enacted as follows :
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That Jacob O. Bal-
tozer, Edward E. Sellers, Charles Brilhart, Wil-

Rhoades, Michael M. Wilhelm and Edwin H. I.
Rhoades, trustees, and their successors in office
elected agreeably to the rules, by-laws and reg-
ulations of said church or congregation, shall
be and they are hereby created and declared to
be a body politic and corporate by the name,
style and title of the Trinity Reformed Church
of Manchester, Carroll county ; and by the said
name shall be able to sue and be sued, implead
and be impleaded in any court of law or equity
in this state or elsewhere, and to make and have
a common seal, and the same to break, alter or
renew at pleasure ; and also to make and estab-
lish such by-laws and ordinances as may be
necessary for regulating the temporal concerns
of said church.
SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That all lands and
