said mayor and city council of Baltimore, in
dividing the same into wards, shall proceed
under the provisions of the act of eighteen
hundred and eighty-two, chapter two, so far as'
the same shall be applicable, but the times men-
tioned in said act within which the said pre-
cincts and wards therein mentioned shall be laid
