184 K. Out of the moneys received by the said collector and
treasurer from application for license, all expenses of publica-
tion shall be paid, and out of the money paid for licenses, all
other expenses incident to the execution of the provisions of
this sub-title relating to licenses in said city shall be paid, and
one-fourth of the balance, after retaining a commission of five
per centum on said one-fourth, shall be paid over by said
collector and treasurer, quarterly, to the State of Maryland,
and the remainder to be applied to the general uses of the said
city of Annapolis.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That an additional section is
hereby added to article two of the Code of Public Local Laws,
to come in after section 184s, and to be designated as 184 T,
and to read as follows :

New section.

184 T. The said collector and treasurer shall give notice, by
publication in newspaper or newspapers published in the city
of Annapolis, to be designated by the said mayor, counsellor
and aldermen, of all applications for said liquor licenses or for
the transfer or assignment of the same to other person or
premises, at least one week before a vote shall be taken by
the said mayor, counsellor and aldermen on said application.

SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That this act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

Approved April 6th, 1894.

CHAPTER 624.

AN ACT to authorize and require the County Commissioners
of Somerset County to borrow money on the credit of said
County for the purpose of rebuilding, enlarging, improving
and otherwise repairing the court house and public offices in
said County, to issue bonds for the payment of the same,
and to levy taxes on the assessable property of the said
County, to redeem said bonds and to pay the interest thereon.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of










Maryland, That the County Commissioners of Somerset
county be and they are hereby authorized and required to bor-
row money on the credit of said county for the purpose of
rebuilding, enlarging, improving and otherwise repairing the
