printed on the ballots of the legally qualified voters at said
election, the words "For Railroad Bonds," or "Against Rail-
road Bonds; " and if two-thirds of the ballots cast shall contain
the words " For Railroad Bonds," then this act shall become
operative and binding, otherwise it shall be void and of no
effect; and the judges of said election shall return to the
mayor and common council of Manchester the number of
votes cast " For Railroad Bonds," and " Against Railroad
Bonds," respectively, and said mayor and common council of
Manchester shall, by their proclamation, announce the result
thereof.

Taxes, when
due.
|
SEC. 7. And be it further enacted, That all of the taxes
hereby authorized shall become due when other taxes levied
by said mayor and common council of Manchester become
due, and if not paid when due, interest shall be charged
thereon until paid; and the payment thereof shall be enforced
in the same way that the payment of other taxes levied by
said mayor and common council of Manchester are authorized
to be enforced.

Effective.

SEC. 8. And be it further enacted, That this act shall take
effect from the date of its passage.

AN ACT to incorporate the Brighton Water and Electric
Company of Baltimore County.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That William H. Wisner, Abram Brown, Robt.
J. Donegan, Robt. B. Johnstone, Arthur M. Eastor, and their
successors, be and they are hereby constituted a body corporate
under the name of Brighton Water and Electric Company of
Baltimore county, and by that name shall have perpetual
succession.

SEC. 2. And b it enacted, That said company by that
name shall be capable in law to sue and be sued, to plead and
be impleaded, to answer and be answered in any court of law
or equity, to make and use a common seal, and alter the same.
