SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 589.
AN ACT to change the name of the Chesapeake Fish Com-
pany of Baltimore City, and to declare valid its acts,
whether done heretofore under its old name or hereafter
under its new name.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the corporate name of the Chesapeake Fish
Company of Baltimore city, the certificate for the incorpora-
tion whereof is dated the twenty-fifth day of July in the year
eighteen hundred and ninety -three, and recorded in the office
of the clerk of the Superior Court of Baltimore city, among
the charter records in liber J. B. No. 31, folio 184, &c., be and
the same is changed to the name of the Chesapeake Fish and

Game Company of Baltimore city, so that such corporation
shall hereafter be known by the last mentioned name; and all
conveyances or mortgages made by or to such company, and
all other acts of such corporation, shall be legal and valid,
whether such conveyances, mortgages or other acts were done
by or for the benefit of such company, either under the name
of the Chesapeake Fish Company of Baltimore City, if done
prior hereto, or under the name of the Chesapeake Fish and
Game Company of Baltimore City, if done hereafter.
