school commissioners for said county, and the site or location
for said school house shall be determined by said school com-
missioners.

CHAPTER 552.
AN ACT to appropriate a sum of money as compensation to
Harrison W. Yickers for professional services in the case of
the State of Maryland vs. Fletcher Williams and others.

WHEREAS, Harrison W. Vickers was appointed special coun-
sel for the State in the case of the State against Fletcher Wil-
liams and eight others, for the murder of Dr. James Heigh
Hill, late of Kent county, and has not been compensated for
his professional services.

Preamble.
|
|
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the Treasurer, upon the warrant of the Comp-
troller, this claim having previously received the sanction and
recommendation of the Comptroller, is hereby directed to pay
to Harrison W. Yickers, as compensation in the case of the
State vs. Fletcher Williams and others, the sum of six hundred
dollars, to be paid out of any moneys in the treasury not other-
wise appropriated.
