commissioners and the said treasurer of the board of County
Commissioners; and in drawing checks or warrants relating to
the affairs of said county, signatures shall only be attached
thereto at a regular session of said board, and after the body
of said checks or warrants shall have been tilled in.

Coupons, how
to be signed

SEC. 6. The coupons for the several semi-annual installments
of interest to accrue upon said bonds, respectively, shall each
be signed and countersigned in like manner as said bonds with
the genuine signature of the president of the said board of
County Commissioners and the said treasurer to the board of
County Commissioners of St. Mary's county, and the issue of
said bonds shall be as of the date of the first day of July,
eighteen hundred and ninety-four; and the treasurer of the
board of County Commissioners shall keep in a book for that
purpose, a full registry of the bonds sold, the numbers of the
bonds and the names of the purchasers thereof, and amounts
realized on sales, and any transfers or assignment of the same.

SEC. 7. That any misapplication of the fund provided for by
this act by the said County Commissioners, or the treasurer to
the board of County Commissioners, shall render them, and
each and all of them participating in such misapplication or
misuse, liable to indictment by the grand jury, and upon con-

viction they shall be punished by imprisonment in jail for not
less than one year nor more than five years, and limitation
shall be no bar to such indictment.

Effective.

SEC. 8. And be it enacted, That all acts or parts of acts
inconsistent with the provisions of this act are hereby repealed,
and that this act shall take effect from the date of its passage.
