LAWS OF MARYLAND.

Commissioners of Talbot county, who shall apply the same to
the building and furnishing a school house in Easton, for the
accommodation of the County High and Manual Training
School, and for no other purpose.

Effective.

SEC. 5. And be it enacted, That this act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

Approved February 13th, 1894.


CHAPTER 20.

AN ACT to repeal Section two of Article twenty of the
Code of Public General Laws, title "Constables," sub-title
"Qualifications," so far as the same applies to Prince George's
County, and to add a new section to Article seventeen of
the Code of Public Local Laws, title "Prince George's
County," sub title " Constables — Qualifications," to follow
Section 85, and to be numbered Section 85 A.

Repeal.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That section two of article twenty of the Code of
Public General Laws, title "Constables," sub-title "Qualifica-
tions," be and the same is hereby repealed so far as it applies
to Prince George's county; and that a new section be and the
same is hereby added to Article seventeen of the Code of
Public Local Laws, title " Prince George's County," under the
new sub-title "Constables — Qualifications," to follow imme-
diately after section 85, and to be numbered section 85 A, and
to read as follows :

Bond.

85 A. Every constable appointed for Prince George's county,
before he acts as such, shall give bond to the State of Mary-
land, with good and sufficient security, to be approved by the
County Commissioners of said county, in the penalty of tive
hundred dollars, conditioned that the said constable, as afore-
said, shall well and faithfully execute the said oflice in all
things appertaining thereto, and shall also well and truly
account for all moneys placed in his hands for collection or
received by him on judgments, and shall well and truly pay
over the same; and the said bond shall be recorded in the office
of the clerk of the Circuit Court for said county, and a copy
