of the bonds issued under this act as they from time to time
mature; and said taxes so levied for said purpose shall be
collected as other taxes are collected in said county.

Disposition of
proceeds.
|
SEC. 5. And be it enacted, That the money arising from the
sale of said bonds issued under this act, shall be used for the
payment of their current expenses and debts of said county,
and shall be paid out by the treasurer of said board of County
Commissioners only on warrant signed by the president of
said board, and issued under the corporate seal, and counter-
signed by the clerk of said board.

Repeal.
|
SEC. 6. And be it enacted, That all laws or part of laws
inconsistent with this act be and the same are hereby repealed.

|
Effective.
|
SEC. 7. That this act shall take effect from the date of its
passage.

CHAPTER 156.
AN ACT to repeal Section 28, Article 20, of the Code of
Public Local Laws, title "Somerset County," sub-title
"Trustees of the Poor," and re-enact the same with amend-
ments.

Repeal.
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That section 28, article 20, of the Code of Public
Local Laws, title "Somerset County," sub-title "Trustees of the
Poor," is hereby repealed and re-enacted so as to read as fol-
lows:

SEC. 28. Each trustee of the poor, for every day he shall
serve in the discharge of his duties, shall receive the sum of
two dollars, and mileage, not exceeding ten cents per mile, one
way for every mile the trustee has to travel from his home to
reach the almshouse where the meetings of the board are held.
