and Game," as enacted by chapter 40 of the acts of Assembly
of eighteen hundred and ninety, and sections 43 and 46 of
said article under said sub-title; also so much of chapter 412
of the acts of Assembly of the year eighteen hundred and
ninety-two, as applies to Harford county, be and they are
hereby repealed; and that said sections 42 and 43 be and the
same are hereby re-enacted to read as follows; and that an
additional section be and the same is added to said article
thirteen under said sub-title, to follow said section 42 and to
be numbered 42 A.

Game law.
|
42. It shall not be lawful to shoot, trap, maim or kill, nor
in any manner injure, destroy or expose for sale, any par-
tridge, pheasant, robin or rabbit in Harford county between the
fifteenth day of December and the fifteenth day of November;
nor any rail-birds or reed-birds between the fifteenth day of
December and. the first day of September; nor any woodcock
between the tenth day of August and the tenth day of June ;
and the possession of any of the birds or game mentioned in
this section during the prohibited periods shall be deemed
prima facie evidence against the person having such possession,
of a violation of this section, except when it may appear that
such birds or game are for breeding purposes.

License.
|
42 A. It shall not be lawful for any person not a bona fide
resident or taxpayer of said county to shoot or gun after any
of the birds or game mentioned in section 42, in said county,
without having first obtained from the clerk of the Circuit
Court for said county a license permitting the person named
in said license to shoot said birds and game in said county
during the period next ensuing when it shall be lawful to
shoot or gun after said birds and game under section 42; and
the person named therein or the party applying for such
license, shall pay to said clerk the sum of ten dollars, which
amount shall be turned over by the said clerk to the board of
county school commissioners of Harford county for the use
of the public schools, and fifty cents to the clerk for his fee
for issuing said license; provided, that any land owner may
extend the privilege of killing said birds or game upon his
land to whomsoever he pleases during such parts of the year
as the killing of said game is lawful under section 42.

Penalty.
|
43. Any person violating the provisions of the two preced-
ing sections, on conviction thereof before any justice of the
peace of said county, shall pay a fine of ten dollars for each
offence, and each partridge, pheasant, woodcock, robin, rabbit,
