CHAPTER 92.
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments, Section
127 of Article 7 of the Code of Public Local Laws, title
"Carroll County," sub-title "Orphans' Court."

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That section 127 of article 7 of the Code of
Public Local Laws, title "Carroll County," sub-title "Orphans'
Court," be and the same is hereby repealed and re-enacted, so
as to read as follows :

Repeal.
|

|
SEC. 127. The said court shall sit for the transaction of busi-
ness from nine o'clock A. M. to three o'clock P. M. of each
day, and in no case shall they sit oftener than two days in any
one week, except when it shall appear to said Orphans' Court
to be necessary for the purpose of examining witnesses or
hearing arguments in a cause depending before said Orphans'
Court, on which occasion they may adjourn from day to day
in any week, as long as it may be necessary in the trial of such
cause.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take effect
from the first day of January, in the year eighteen hundred
and ninety-six.

CHAPTER 93.
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Section 18
of Article 47, title "Insolvents," of the Code of Public
General Laws.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That section 18 of article 47 of the Code of
Public General Laws, title "Insolvents," be and the same is
hereby repealed and re-enacted with amendments so as to
read as follows :
18. The Clerks of the Circuit Courts may receive the
petitions under this article, and appoint the preliminary
trustee mentioned in this article, and approve his bond, as
