CHAPTER 477.
AN ACT to provide for a General Index of the Equity
Records of Carroll County.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by- the General Assembly of Mary-

for said indexing, unless the receipts from said clerk's office
shall be enough to pay for said work after all his office
expenses and salaries are paid, in which event it shall be
paid from the receipts of said office.
SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 478.
AN ACT to appropriate a sum of money to pay Isaac
Benesch & Sons, Minch & Eisenbrey, George Geddes,
Uriah Pollock, and George Higgins, for furniture, etc.,
furnished the Senate and House of Delegates of Mary-
land.

Section. 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the Comptroller be and he is hereby authorized

State of Maryland in favor of Isaac Benesch & Sons for one
thousand and thirty dollars and fifty-four cents ($1,030.54) ;
in favor of Minch & Eisenbrey, for five hundred and forty-
three dollars ($543.00); in favor of George Geddes, for one
hundred and seventy-six dollars and fifty cents ($176.50); in
favor of Uriah Pollock, for one hundred and eight dollars
($108.00); in favor of George Higgins, for three dollars and
fifty cents ($3.50.)
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.
