taking of oysters in the Potomac river shall be concurrent as
to the States of Maryland and Virginia, it is further pro-
vided that this Act shall take effect from the date of its
passage; provided, concurrent legislation has heretofore
been passed by the General Assembly of Virginia, or if not
passed then, immediately upon the passage thereof.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That upon the taking effect in
the State of Virginia of the provisions prescribed in the

Proclamation
issued.

preceding section, the Governor of Maryland shall issue his
proclamation declaring the provisions of this Act to be
effective.

Chapter 204, and Sections 261, 262 N and 262 Q, of the
Code of Public Local Laws of the State of Maryland, title
"Harford County," sub-title "Taxes and County Treas-
urer," as enacted by the Acts of 1900, Chapter 529 and
Section 262 Y of the Code of Public Local Laws of the State
of Maryland, title "Harford County," sub-title "Taxes
and County Treasurer," as enacted by the Act of 1902,
Chapter 255, and Section 258 of the Code of Public Local
Laws of the State of Maryland, title " Harford County,"
sub-title "Taxes and County Treasurer," as enacted by
the Act of 1904, Chapter 422, and Section 262 C of the
Code of Public Local Laws of the State of Maryland, title
"Harford County," sub-title "Taxes and County Treas-
urer," as enacted by the Act of 1904, Chapter 10, and to
re-enact the same with amendments.
