WHEREAS, It has been unanimously recommended by the
State board of education that such sum of money should be

of the proceeds of the State school tax before making appor-

purpose than for salaries and ordinary running expenses of
said schools.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 444.
AN ACT to amend Article 52 of the Code of Public General
Laws, title "Justice of the Peace," sub-title "Criminal
Jurisdiction," by adding two new sections thereto to fol-
low Section 12, to be designated as Section 12 A and Sec-
tion 12 B, providing for the execution of process and
amendment of proceedings of justices in criminal cases.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Article 52 of the Code of Public General Laws,
