Section. 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That S. B. Harcum, Alexander S. Stern, Milton Jacobi
and John C. Boessel, all residents of the State of Maryland,

and their associates, successors and assigns, be and they are
hereby created and made a body corporate, under and by the
name and style of the "Maryland Automobile, Motor-Car and
Manufacturing Company," and by that name shall have per-
petual succession and shall be capable to sue and be sued,
complain or defend in any court of law or equity; to make
and use a common seal, and alter the same at pleasure; to
receive and make deeds and contracts; to acquire by purchase
or in any other manner take and receive, hold, use, employ,
manage, mortgage, dispose of, or in any other manner not
inconsistent with the law, deal in any property, real or per-
sonal or mixed, and situate in or out of this State, which may
be necessary or proper to enable said corporation to carry on
its operations, or fulfil the purposes for which it is incor-
porated, and generally to do every other act or thing not
inconsistent with law, which may be necessary or proper to
promote the objects, designs and purposes for which this
corporation is formed.
SEC 2. And be it further enacted, That in all other respects

the rights, powers and privileges conferred upon and vested in
the said corporation by the said Chapter 232 of the Acts of
1900 be and the same are hereby ratified and confimed.
SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect from the date of its passage.

AN ACT to incorporte the Workman's Loan and Savings
Association.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Edward Hirsch, Frederick C. Schanberger, James

A. Fechtig, Jr., A. S. Goldsborough, R. E. Preece, Wilson
B. Nichols and E. C. Fulton, all being residents of Balti-
more city, State of Maryland, and their successors in office,
be and they are hereby constituted and made a body corpo-
rate and politic under the name and style of the Workman's
Loan and Savings Association, and by that name shall have
perpetual succession and be capable in law to hold and dis-
