Condemnation
of property
for esplan-
ades, etc.

in Baltimore city, or any interest therein, which it may
require for establishing esplanades, boulevards, park-ways,
park-grounds and public reservations in, around and leading
to public buildings, and for the purpose of re-selling such
land with reservations in the deeds of such re-sale as to the
future use of said lands, so as to protect public buildings and
their environs, and to preserve the view, appearance, light,
air and usefulness of public grounds occupied by public
buildings and esplanades and park-ways leading thereto, and
may provide such methods of condemnation of any such land
or property, or interest therein, situated within the city of
Baltimore, as it may deem proper; provided, however, that
all the provisions as to reasonable notice and appeals con-
tained in the next preceding paragraph of this section shall
likewise be applicable to this paragraph of this section.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect from the date of its passage.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Section 8
of Article 68 of the Code of Public General Laws of Mary-
land, title " Notaries Public."
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-

General Laws of Maryland, title "Notaries Public," be and
the same is hereby repealed and re-enacted, so as to read as
follows :
8. A notary may exercise all functions of the office of
notary in any other county or city than the county or city

granted
notaries.

for which he may be appointed, with the same power and
effect in all respects as if the same were exercised in the
county or city for which he may be appointed.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.
