CHAP. 354

Guilty of mis-
demeanor.

Section 185 E. Any person who shall unlawfully take fish
from the nets or weirs belonging to any person than himself
in the waters aforesaid shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, and
upon conviction thereof be fined not less than $100.00 for
each and every violation.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That all laws -inconsistent with

Repeal.

this Act be and the same are hereby repealed to the extent
of such inconsistency; provided, that nothing in this section
or Sections 186 V1s and D shall affect any prosecution now
pending for violation of the existing laws of the State, or for
offenses against the same committed before the passage of
this Act.

SEC. 3. Be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect from
the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 355.
AN ACT to empower, authorize and direct the County Com-
missioners of Charles County to levy at their next levy,
levying a sum of money to the use of John S. Warren paid
by the said John S. Warren into the Treasury of Charles
County in error.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the County Commissioners of Charles county be

and they are hereby authorized, empowered and directed to
levy at the next levy, levying the sum of twenty-four dollars
and fifty-seven cents ($24.57) to the use of the said John S.
Warren, paid by the said John S. Warren into the treasury
of Charles county in error.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 356.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Sections
ten (10) and eighty (80) of Article seventy-seven (77) of
the Code of Public General Laws, title " Public Education,"
and to add a new section to follow Section 17 C of said
