thousand dollars or less, in trust or otherwise, for the pur-
pose of providing for the perpetual care or keeping in good
order and condition, or making repairs to any lot, vault,
mausoleum or other place of sepulture belonging to any
individual or several individuals, in any cemetery or grave-
yard intended for the burial of the members of the family,
family connections, relatives or friends of the owner thereof,
or of their successors in ownership, shall be held to be void
as offending the rule against perpetuities.

lot in any cemetery or graveyard, to any trustee in trust to
hold the the same in trust perpetually, or for any lesser
period for the interment therein of any persons named or
described, or of any family or descendants, or for the care
and protection thereof against desecration or injury, shall be
held void as a violation of the rule against perpetuities.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 60.
AN ACT to repeal Section 164 of Article 10 of Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland, title "Dorchester County," sub-
title "Fences," so far as it applies to the Eleventh or
Drawbridge Election District of said county.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 164 of Article 10 of the Code of Public

Repeal.

Local Laws of Maryland, title "Dorchester County," sub-
title "Fences," so far as it applies to the Eleventh or Draw-
bridge Election District of said county be, and the same is
hereby repealed.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Section
622 of the Act of 1898, Chapter 123, title " City of Bal-
timore, " sub-title " Charter. "
