CHAPTER 311.
AN ACT to appropriate five thousand ($5,000) dollars a year
for each of the two State fiscal years, 1905-1906 and 1906-
1907, to the Maryland Agricultural College, to be expended
by it for the benefit of the Maryland Tobacco Industry, and
development of markets therefor; said appropriations to
be paid from and charged to the Tobacco Fund in the
Treasury of the State of Maryland.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the sum of five thousand ($5,000) dollars a year

for each of the two State fiscal years, 1905-1906 and 1906-
1907, be and the same is hereby appropriated to the Mary-
land Agricultural College, to be expended by it for the benefit
of the Maryland tobacco industry and development of mar-
kets therefor, to be paid from and charged to the tobacco
fund in the treasury of the State of Maryland.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That said Maryland Agricultural

College shall keep an accurate account of the manner in which
and purposes for which it may apply said appropriations and
make a full report thereof annually on or before the first day
of December to the Comptroller of the Treasury of the State
of Maryland.
SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That the Comptroller of the

State shall draw his warrants upon the State Treasurer for
the payment of such requisitions to the extent of said
appropriations as may from time to time be made upon him
by said Maryland Agricultural College.
Section 4. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take
effect from the date of its passage.

AN ACT to provide for the construction of a State Road or
Highway through Prince George, Howard and Baltimore
Counties, from Washington, D. C., to Baltimore, Mary-
land.
