the fiscal years of 1907 and 1908, be and the same is hereby
appropriated, to be paid out of any money in the treasury

CHAPTER 291.
AN ACT to Amend the Charter and Extend the Powers of
the Century Fire Insurance Company of Baltimore City.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-

more City, a corporation heretofore formed under the
provisions of Chapter 535 of the Acts of the General
Assembly of Maryland of 1900, in addition to the powers
possessed by it under the said mentioned Act, shall have the
further powers hereinafter given.
SEC 2. Be it further enacted, That the title of the said

Company of Maryland.

Insurance Company of Maryland shall have the power of
making insurance against accidents of any nature or descrip-
tion; of making insurance against liability for negligence or
torts of any nature or description.

Insurance Company of Maryland may carry on and conduct
the business of inspecting boilers, engines, mechanical
appliances and machinery of all kinds, at such rate of com-
pensation, if any, as may be agreed upon between the said
company and the persons for whom such inspection may be
made.
