CHAP. 53

How said
money shall
be disbursed

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the Treasurer of the State
shall, on the warrant of the Comptroller, disburse said sums
of money herein appropriated, for the objects and purposes
herein specified, to or upon the order of the person or per-
sons entitled to receive the same; and the said Comptroller
shall issue such warrant upon vouchers drawn and signed
by the secretary and countersigned by the chairman of the
said Joint Special Committee.

SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 54.
AN ACT authorizing the County Commissioners for Anne
Arundel county to erect and establish a free bridge over
Tracey's creek, in the Eighth Election District for said
county, and for the necessary roads leading to the same,
for the convenience of public travel.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the County Commissioners for Anne Arundel

directed to cause to be built a substantial bridge, to be of
the width of not less than sixteen feet, over and across
Tracey's creek, in the Eighth Election District of said county,
from the point on the west side of said creek to a point in
the Great Swamp, to be located by the County Commissioner
for Anne Arundel county, and the said County Commis-
sioners are hereby authorized and empowered to acquire by
inquisition, purchase, or otherwise, all the lands and materials
necessary for the construction of the said bridge and abut-
ments, and for all necessary and suitable roads leading to
and from the same, for the convenience of public travel, and
said bridge, when built, shall be maintained and kept in
proper repair by the County Commissioners as a free bridge.
