described, being all that portion of the Twelfth Election
District of Baltimore county, as formerly constituted, which
is not included within the Twelfth and Fourteenth Election
Districts of Baltimore county as hereby constituted, shall
be known and designated as the Fifteenth Election District
of Baltimore county.
SEC. A. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 252.
AN ACT to extend the privileges and enlarge the powers of
"The Peninsula Traction Company of Talbot County,"
incorporated under the General Laws of this State."
WHEREAS, " The Peninsula Traction Company of Talbot

County," a corporation duly incorporated under Article 23
of Section 35 of the Code of Public General Laws of this
State, was incorporated to do a passenger railway business ;
and
WHEREAS, Under its provisions of said Section 35, Article
23, the said railroad company is limited in its operations to
twelve miles in length; and
WHEREAS, It is the desire of the incorporators of said
"Peninsula Traction Company of Talbot County" to extend
its operations to a greater length than twelve miles and to
include in its operations other counties of the Peninsula of
Maryland; therefore,
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That "The Peninsula Traction Company of Talbot

Section 35, of the Code of Public General Laws of this State,
shall, in addition to the powers granted under the aforesaid
Article, have perpetual existence, and have power to extend
its mileage in excess of twelve miles, and such length as they
may deem proper and advisable, and shall have power to
construct and operate branch roads along the line of their
road; to lease, buy and build wharves, houses and shops for
corporate purposes; to charter barges and hold steamboats
and barges to ply in connection with this road to any port
or ports, place or places in the State, and contract with the
