SEC. 12. Nothing in this Act shall be construed to prevent
any person from doing or performing any of the kinds of

work enumerated in Section 5 of this Act; provided, that
such work is performed under the direction and supervision
of a duly licensed master electrician; but no such work,
other than minor electric repairs for the maintenance of
established plants shall be performed excepting under such
direction and supervision of a duly licensed master electri-
cian, and the said licensed electrician shall be responsible
for any and all work so done under his direction and super-
vision.
SEC. 13. Any person, firm or corporation who shall prac-
tice or engage or continue in the work of a master electrician

without having complied with all of the provisions of this
Act, and any person not licensed as master electrician, who
shall do or perform any such work except under the direc-
tion of a master electrician, and any person having been
licensed as a master electrician, and who shall fail to renew
his license as herein provided, and shall do or perform any
such work, or who shall violate any of the provisions of this
Act, shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction
thereof shall be sentenced to pay a fine of not less than
twenty-five dollars ($25) nor more than five hundred
dollars ($500), or to an imprisonment not exceeding ninety
(90) days, or both, in the discretion of the court, and any
such conviction shall ipso facto revoke and annul any license
that may have been issued to such person.
SEC. 14. No license or renewal of same granted or issued
