SEC. 15. And be it enacted, That the General Assembly
reserves the right to repeal, alter or amend this Act at its
pleasure.
SEC. 16. And be it enacted, That said company shall be

and amendments thereof; and the liability of the stock-
holders thereof shall at all times be determined by the laws
of this State in force at the time the said liability may

from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 239.
AN ACT to repeal Section 36 of Article 35 of the Code of
Public General Laws of Maryland (of 1904) title "Evi-
dence," sub-title " Commissions to take Evidence from
other States," and to enact in lieu thereof three new sec-
tions of said Article 35, to be numbered Sections 36, 36 A
and 36 B."

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section thirty-six (36) of Article thirty-five (35)

36. A party to any civil action, suit or special proceeding,
pending in a court without this State, either in any State,
