partridge, quail, duck, squirrel, rabbit, mink, raccoon, otter

or muskrat so killed, taken, trapped, shot or destroyed
within said specified times, and possession of any of the
within named birds or game, dead or alive, within any of the
specified times by any person in said county shall be deemed
unlawful, and be punished by fine of ten dollars for each and
every such bird or animal so killed or in possession of any
person.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 197.
Vacant chapter number. Upon examining the endorse-
ments on this bill after its presentation to the Governor it
was found to have been unfavorably reported from the
Committee on Judical Proceedings of the Senate and the
unfavorable report adopted. The bill, therefore, did not
become a law.
CHAPTER 198.
AN ACT to declare the sanction and consent of the General
Assembly of Maryland to sundry gifts, bequests, and
devises contained in the last wills and testaments of certain
persons, late of the State of Maryland, deceased, and also
to certain gifts, grants, sales, leases, and deeds made by
various persons in this State, to and for the use and bene-
fit of sundry ministerial persons, religious corporations,
denominations or sects and to certain charitable institu-
tions.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-

land, That the sanction and consent of the General Assembly
of Maryland be and the same are hereby declared, given and
granted to the following gifts, bequests, devises, grants, sales,
leases, and deeds to and for the use and benefit of certain
ministerial persons, religious corporations, denominations or
sects, and to certain charitable institutions as herein set
forth.
