be subject to any liability on such stockholders, but the
person pledging the stock and the estate and funds in the
hands of such executor, administrator, guardian or trustee,
shall be subject to the liability imposed upon the holders of
said shares. And the liability of such stockholders shall be
an asset of the said corporation, the said Citizens' Deposit
Bank of Trappe, Maryland, for the benefit ratably of all the
depositors and creditors of said corporation, the Citizens'
Deposit Bank of Trappe, Maryland, if necessary, to pay the
debts of said corporation.
SEC. 10. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 192.
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 4
of Article 100 of the Code of Public General Laws of
Maryland, title " Work Hours of, in Factories," as amended
by Chapter 566 of the Acts of 'the General Assembly of
Maryland for 1902, and to add certain new sections to
said article, to come in after said Section 4, and to be
known as Sections 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12 and 13.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 4 of Article 100 of the Code of Public

re-enact.

General Laws of Maryland, title " Work Hours of, in Fac-
tories," as amended by Chapter 566 of the Acts of the Gen-
eral Assembly of Maryland for 1902, be and the same is
hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, so as to
read as follows :
4. No proprietor, owner, superintendent, manager or fore-
man, or other subordinate or agent of any , mill, factory,

workshop, office, restaurant, hotel, apartment house, store,
telephone or telegraph office, or other establishment or busi-
ness shall, after the first day of September, in the year 1906,
employ for wages or hire, or retain in employment in any
such mill, factory, workshop, office, restaurant, hotel, apart-
ment house, store, telephone or telegraph office, or other
establishment or business, any person or persons under
twelve (12) years of age; except in the counties, from June
1st to October 15th, in every year.
