CHAPTER 183.
AN ACT authorizing the Mayor and City Council of Balti-
more City to provide certain aid annually for Mrs. Lottie
C. Curry, widow of Howard E. Curry.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the Mayor and City Council of Baltimore City be

and it is hereby authorized to make annually such provisions
for the aid of Lottie C. Curry, widow of Howard E. Curry,
who was a fireman in the fire department of said city, and who
was maimed and died from injuries received in the services
of said department, as to the Mayor and City Council may
seem wise and proper; such aid not to exceed the sum of three
hundred dollars per annum for said widow.
SEC. 2. Be and it is further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect from the date of its passage.
Approved March 27, 1906.

CHAPTER 184.
AN ACT to declare the sanction and consent of the General
Assembly of Maryland to certain bequests made by and
contained in the last will and testament, and the first codi-
cil thereto, of John K. Shaw, late of Baltimore City,
deceased.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the sanction and consent of said General Assem-

and granted to the following bequests made by and contained
in the last will and testament, and the first codicil thereto, of
John K. Shaw, late of Baltimore city, deceased, dated
respectively October 27, 1904 and April 15, 1905, and
recorded in the office of the Register of Wills of said city in
Wills Liber B. E. S. No. 96, Folio 343, etc.
(A) To the bequest of ten thousand dollars ($10,000) to
the Free Summer Excursion Society of Baltimore City, a
body corporate of the State of Maryland, made in Item No.
17 of said will.
