Section 326. If any person shall fail or refuse to pay the tax
by the first day of April in each year, it shall be the duty of

the constable on and' after that date to kill the dog or slut
upon which said tax is levied, and to remove the said dog or
slut killed as aforesaid from the premises on which it is
found, and to dispose of the body of said dog or slut in a
sanitary manner; and any person opposing or in any way
hindering said constable in . the performance of his duty
shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon convic-
tion shall be fined not less than two dollars nor more than
one hundred dollars, and shall stand committed to the county
jail until said fine is paid; and for each and every dog or
slut so killed and disposed of as aforesaid by said constable
he shall be entitled to receive from the County Commission-
ers the sum of twenty-five cents.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 163.

AN ACT to repeal Chapter 336 of the Acts of 1898, entitled
"An Act to prohibit the issuing of any license for the sale
of spirituous or fermented liquors or lager beer within
three-quarters of a mile of Public School No. 6, located at
Halethorpe, in the Thirteenth Election District of Balti-
more County, and to prevent the sale of all kinds of intox-
icating drinks in the above described limits, and to re-enact
the same with amendments."
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
